3 other friends I lost contact with. One is Eric Bassey who also lived in Main building around 1989 and Im not sure if he even graduated . Two other both graduated in 1992 and where a couple for most of the 4 years they were at Vassar . There name are Carlos who was from maryland and then his parents moved to lake Oswego in Oregon and his girlfriend at the time marlo Goodman who was from New Orleans. Hey to all the alumni of class of "97" I hope that you are all doing well and that your goals are being met and surpassed. I am glad to say that My experiences at monroe were were enlightening and memorable. I will not forget the friendships That I made during my years at monroe. From those made my first day at Langdon elem. to the ones made a day before graduation. I want to thank all of the teachers who at times don't get the recognition that they deserve even when their decisions don't seem fair. All I can say is thank you for filling my head with knowledge that I thought That I would never use and the advice that came to great use in choosing my career (teaching) I realized that It does take a lot of patience and energy to teach and now that I am in your shoes I see why you did what you had to do when you did it. A Tragic accident took the life of a very dear friend on 1/11/2002. Chuck Wiseman class of 73 was killed in a boating accident at Castaic Lake. We love you Chuck !!! You will be greatly missed.
